On March 27th 2019, Qingdao International Business Association cooperating with the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in QD visited Qingdao Youjia Hygiene Technology Co., Ltd.. Representatives from the German Industry & Commerce  Qingdao and the Government of South Australia Jinan Representative Office as well as from the Hague Business Agency and State of Bavaria - China Office, joined the group. 

Specialised in the R&D, production and marketing of tampons, Youjia aims to change the traditional use of sanitary napkins and improve the health and well-being of women in China as well as the international competitiveness of female health products made in China. The company has the world most advanced production line, producing 260-280 pieces of applicator tampons per minute. (High-end production lines in Switzerland produce 70-80 pieces/minute in comparison.)

Not only certified according to ISO9001: 2105, ISO 14001: 2015, CE and other standards, the company is also participating in the development of Manufacturing Standards for Applicator Tampons. Whilst marketing its products in China, Youjia is exporting to North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Korea.

During the lunch generously provided by Youjia to all participants the lively discussions sparked by the Q&A session at the Youjia factory were continued.
